MTData Announces CEO Transition

Matthew Bellizia, MTData’s CEO and co-founder, will step down as CEO on 31st July 2023, after more than 20 years of service. Under his leadership, the company has taken a leadership position in the Australian Telematics market, digitally transforming the heavy vehicle market and achieving strong year-on-year growth. The business remains in a very strong position today and Matthew will continue to contribute to the business in a non-executive role.

On 1st August, 2023, Mark Chapman will assume the position of CEO. Mark has been a non-executive Director of MTData since 2017 and brings with him a strong industry background. For over twenty years he has led and commercialized technology businesses, including Telstra’s IoT, Unified Communications, and Industry Product divisions, where he played a pivotal role in tripling Telstra’s IOT business during his tenure.

Mark Chapman shares his enthusiasm, stating, “I am very excited to lead MTData to new heights. The business is in an excellent position following the recent release of new hardware and advancements in our software products. With strong market dominance, I am eager to broaden our offering, increase customer value and cultivate an exciting work environment.”

Expressing his gratitude, Mark further adds, “I thank Matthew for his years of service and look forward to working together, leveraging his knowledge and experience in his new non-executive function going forward.”
