We are excited to welcome Victorian Freight Specialists (VFS) as a new MTData customer!
Founded in 1998, VFS specialise in delivering general freight to Regional Victorian and Southern NSW. They utilise their strategically located depots in Dandenong, Altona and Albury, to deliver overnight to even the most remote corners of country Victoria.
VFS’s service includes coordinating direct loads, warehousing and overnight linehaul transfer. They also run a fleet of courier vans that offer a same day parcel service around metropolitan Melbourne.
In addition to our tracking system, Victorian Freight Specialists will be utilising our proactive fatigue management system, our job dispatch with sign-on glass module and our integrated engine management system to their young fleet of 50 trucks and 40 courier vans.
VFS have also implemented our in-vehicle driver tablet solution, Talon, which will allow operators, compliance managers, and drivers access to a comprehensive range of features.
Features include: pre-trip questionnaires; fit for duty declarations; bar code scanning; photo capability; electronic document/gazettes; POD and sign on glass options; messaging; text-to-speech announcements; incident/defect reporting; live engine data performance; and much more.
