Engine Management

Access live engine data across your fleet with MTData’s vehicle fleet maintenance software. Track oil and coolant temperature, pressure, RPM, gear recordings, odometer readings, engine hours and fuel consumption. Advanced Engine Control Management (ECM) parameters are also supported, such as active cruise control, ABS events, driver throttle demand and brake applications enabling insightful reporting on driver behaviour.

Alerts can be triggered for any exceptions or simply view up to date information. The device is SAE approved and supports SAE1708, SAE1939 and SAE1979 standards. Real-time information coupled with kilometres and engine hours simplifies vehicle maintenance schedules, keeping your fleet roadworthy and compliant.

Inspection, Defect & Incident Reporting

Drivers are prompted to complete an inspection report before and after they drive a vehicle. Any defects or incidents raised will trigger email alerts to notify management. The inspection list is configurable and can be broken down into different categories i.e. engine, tyres, trailer / assets, prime mover and equipment. You can also configure a list of questions to aid the inspection process. When raising a defect, drivers can include the type and severity of defect, attach photos and add comments. Drivers reporting a critical defect or incident will prompt a “Stop Work” alert in Talon, the in-vehicle tablet.

Scheduled Maintenance

The Workshop Service and Maintenance Scheduler are incorporated into Hawk-Eye, the web-based platform. Notification emails and colour coded statuses advise when vehicles are due for service listing the type of service required. Service alerts can be programmed according to date, odometer reading or engine hours. This takes the hard work out of managing service schedules and doesn’t rely on drivers to advise when services are due. Maintenance staff receive real-time defect and repair requests from Talon, the in-vehicle driver tablet. You can also utilise the comprehensive solution FleetUnite as a full workshop application.
